Dr. Anna Ciraso-Calí

I am an educator (Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy); a pedagogue (UAB), with a master's degree in Methodology of Behavioral and Health Sciences, and a doctorate in Psychology of Communication and Change (specializing in cognitive processes in education). I have professional experience in non-formal education settings and in school support services for children and families.
Currently I hold a lecturer position (Serra Húnter program) in the Department of Applied Pedagogy, in Research Methods in Education, at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I teach Research in Education for future educational professionals; and my current main research areas are the study of learning patterns across different contexts and educational settings, youth empowerment, and the methodological aspects of knowledge generation in different educational disciplines.
