I am a psychologist (Universidad Santo Tomás, Colombia – Cum Laude distinction), with a Master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology Research and currently a PhD candidate in Clinical and Health Psychology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain). My academic background is grounded in systemic, complemented by international training in strategic brief therapy and mediational intervention for caregivers (OMI).
I have professional and academic experience in both clinical psychology and higher education, including university-level teaching, research, and the development of programs for mental health promotion, inclusive education, and youth leadership. I’ve coordinated institutional initiatives for strengthening socio-emotional skills and life project construction among university students.
Currently, I collaborate with the research group MAMH and participate in projects aimed at fostering mentalization in caregivers and educators to promote child and youth well-being. My research interests include emotion regulation, mental health in educational contexts, community-based intervention, and the implementation of psychosocial strategies in diverse populations.
