Jacqueline Grace Nonweiler
I am a PhD student in the Department of Clinical & Health Psychology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona with an area of research focused on the intersection of mentalization and pre-clinical mental health disorders, specifically psychosis.
I conduct research regarding mentalization assessment, and evaluation of mentalization in schizotypy, a reliable predictor for the transition to psychotic disorders, as well as pre-clinical stages of other disorders (e.g. social anxiety, borderline personality disorder). My research is informed by the understanding of an individual as a whole— with a human experience of positive, negative, and neutral factors. As such, I see the entire bandwidth of risk and resilience factors as important contributions to mental health. |
